The Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative (DSNI) serves as BHCT's fiscal sponsor. Bob was a founding member, staff person, and later board member at DSNI. Our partnership continues and builds on that legacy.
DSNI's mission is to empower Dudley residents to organize, plan for, create and control a vibrant, diverse and high-quality neighborhood in collaboration with community partners.
Dudley Neighbors, Incorporated (DNI) is a Community Land Trust created by the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative (DSNI) to implement and develop DSNI’s comprehensive master plan that was drafted by residents to guide the revitalization of the neighborhood.
Bob's wishes and our plan is to place the land at 29 Monadnock St on the DNI Community Land Trust.
While BHCT is not a christian organization and is not focused on evangelizing, apostatizing, or proselytizing, a core component of the community Bob built at and around 29 was a spiritual one.
In that vein we joining with Reality Boston to explore what learning to live and love like Jesus on Monadnock Street looks like in this new era at 29.
CRECHE (the Charles River Episcopal Co-Housing Endeavor) creates and supports a network of mixed-income, inter-generational co-housing communities in partnership with The Episcopal Church.
